Peace Tracks is an online, international music education program that amplifies the voices of global youths; advocating for peace through music, empathy and creative collaboration.

 

A division of Needham, MA based non-profit Plugged In — our staff has over 20 years of experience serving music students of all ages, abilities, needs and backgrounds.

With teachers, students and partner schools across the world, Peace Tracks brings together hundreds of students from The United States, Europe, Africa and The Middle East.

Our Team

Eddie Mora

Eddie is a versatile musician and producer based in San Diego, CA and the founder of Heartbeat Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing hospital patients with access to musical instruments, instruction, and opportunities for creative expression during their stays.In addition to his musical endeavors, Eddie is pursuing a career in medicine, studying to become a cardiologist.

Ashwin Sriram

Ashwin is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, a songwriter, performer, and producer, and the founder of Daily Dosa Music, a boutique music marketing agency. He's an indie artist with two projects—ASHWYN and Astra—that blend Electronic and Pop. Born in the US, Ashwin splits his time between Los Angeles and Bangalore.

Marissa Barbato

Marissa, known artistically as Entangled Mind, is a Boston-based electronic music producer, multi-instrumentalist and touring performer. Merging organic instrumentation with masterful electronic production, Marissa harnesses sound to foster connections among listeners. As a teacher, Marissa values making music fun and approachable for everyone from complete beginners to advanced artists. Outside of music, Marissa loves exploring nature, eating vegetables, and ecstatically dancing.

Emily Thaler

Emily is a music producer, touring performer and founder of the electronic music project, Sylph.  Originally from New York and now based in Grass Valley, CA, Emily graduated with a degree in music technology from NYU Steinhardt.  Emily seeks to create her own personalized syntax through the organization and design of morphing, alien sounds that reminds us of our inherent connection to one another.

Elliot Rick

Elliot Rick is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music educator based out of Southern California. As a teacher, his focus is on nurturing the unique creative potential of every student, empowering them to become confident, well-rounded artists.

Nathan Bolton

Nathan is a guitarist, writer, and visual artist whose commercial clients and collaborators include Lexus, The North Face, Orville Peck and Troy Baker. When he’s not at Plugged In & Peace Tracks, he can often be found walking his three legged dog Kasey Jones, and her elderly Chihuahua sister Miku.

Jillian Navarro

Jillian is a musician, writer, filmmaker, educator and activist with a BFA in Film and Digital Media and Entrepreneurship. Additionally, she owns and operates a store located outside of Yosemite National Park that caters to fellow artists and outdoor enthusiasts. Her passion is to make a difference in the world through the power of art, storytelling, and education.  When she is not working with Peace Tracks or at her shop, she can be found reading and cuddling with her dogs.

Prithvi Prakash

Prithvi is a South Asian singer, songwriter and producer born in Texas, USA, brought up in Bangalore, India and currently based in Los Angeles, USA. With over 15 years of training in Carnatic Music, her work combines sounds of indie pop and electronic music with inspiration from Indian classical music. She recently graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Electronic Production and Design. Over the past 3 years, Prithvi has released 9 singles fostering a dedicated fan base.

Sandra is the co-founder and executive director of the Plugged In Band Program and Peace Tracks. With over two decades of experience as a non-profit leader and advocate for equitable and inclusive education — Sandra has dedicated herself to sharing to sharing the transformative power of music the world over.
